Brief History

In the year 2015 a delegation from the Peoples Republic of China came to Antigua on the initiative of the of the Ministry of Trade and made a presentation of 38 industrial sewing machines and accessory sewing equipment to the government and people of Antigua and Barbuda, hence the National Garment Manufacturing Initiative was formed. Of greater importance, the Chinese conducted training in various aspects of garment manufacturing and pattern making. To facilitate this training, a shipment of raw material was presented and utilized.

From 2015 to early 2018 the main focus was producing biodegradable shopping bags, later that year and until 2020 the focus shifted to manufacturing school uniforms and minimum work for mass troupes, it became evident that N.G.M.I had the potential to become a major Manufacturing company in the twin Island state. As of 2023 we began our rebranding process which includes a name change to Stitches 365 and our product line.
